Unfortunately yes you have read the title correctly, Brooklyn Nine-Nine has been cancelled. The apparently not a big enough hit show was cancelled along with The Mick and The Last Man on Earth, maybe Fox just isn’t doing comedy TV anymore?
The rumours of Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s cancellation spread around the internet days ago when the news came out that the show was, in fact, struggling to gain an audience. Brooklyn Nine-Nine only managed to average less than two million viewers per episode, come on US everyone else likes the show and you failed us!
Of course like every cancellation and every already cancelled show the talks of Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s revival are already spreading around the internet. Brooklyn Nine-Nine could be picked up by the likes of Hulu or more likely Netflix considering Netflix’s relationship with Fox in making Arrested Development but it certainly won’t be announced for awhile. Brooklyn Nine-Nine has certainly gained a lot of its fanbase from its international viewers which obviously don’t pay the bills for Fox.
For now, Brooklyn Nine-Nine is currently finishing up its fifth, and final, season and you should enjoy it while you can because you may never see new episodes again.
