Welcome to the first issue of The Weekly Chair Guide. This weekly article is something I’ll be doing every monday to provide you with what you can watch, go see and play every week so that you don’t have to go searching everywhere to find it. It’s a monday and you need something to look forward to so here’s whats out this week.
Films
Lion – 19th
Lion is a film about a five year old boy who gets lost in Calcutta, India, after being adpoted by an Australian family for twenty five years the boy sets out to find his family. Stars; Dev Patel, Nicole Kidman and Rooney Mara. Here is my review of Lion, https://thechairport.com//home/lion-review
XXX: The Return of Xander Cage – 19th
Xander Cage is left for dead but returns to an even tougher assignment thanks to his handler Augutus Gibbons (what a ridiculous name, is his handler a monkey?). Stars; Vin Diesel, Donnie Yen, Rubi Rose, Nina Dobrev, Toni Collette and Samuel L. Jackson.
Television
Season Finale of Sherlock – 16th
The season is already over for Sherlock, shame there is only three episodes every two years, but its been leading up to what could be an awesome season finale. If you haven’t watched any of this season so far now would be a great time to binge watch it all.
Baskets: Season 2 – 20th
Baskets is a really good comedy that not alot of people noticed. It follows the story of Chip Baskets, Zach Galifanakas, who returns home after being professionally trained as a clown in France only to realise he faces some weird and hard challenges before people start to realise his talents.
Games
Gravity Rush 2 – 20th (PS4)
Gravity Rush 2 is the sequel to the mind bending adventure game Gravity Rush, which was released on the PS Vita. Still searching for clues behind the mystery of her origin Kat must master three unique gravity attack styles as she takes on enemies and massive bosses.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Mega Battle (PS4/Xbox One) – Digital Release
Level up your rangers and team up with your friends as this arcade style game lets you be a Power Ranger. Smash through levels of opponents in this classic Power Rangers styled game that lets you fight villains pulled straight from the first two seasons of the show.
Quest for Dungeons (PS4) – Digital Release
Quest for Dungeons is a turn based dungeon crawler with a classic old 16-bit retro art style. An evil Dark Lord has stolen all the light in the world, so your mission is to enter his lair and defeat him. By playing as either a Warrior, a Wizard, an Assassin, or a Shaman, you have to traverse dungeons, defeat enemies, and loot everything you can in order to survive.
Flame in the Flood (PS4) – Digital Release
The Flame in the Flood is a wilderness survival game in which a girl and her dog travel on foot and by raft down a procedurally-generated river. You must search for resources and avoid the harsh wildlife to stay healthy and survive.
Read Only Memories (PS4) – Digital Release
You play a struggling journalist in Neo- San Francisco in the year 2064 AD. Your life is interrupted by the world’s first sapient machine as together you must overcome challenges to uncover the city’s dark secrets.
