Start of the new week and there is already a lot going on this week with more Oscar films and heaps of new games, including a new Nintendo mobile game, to check out. Here is your guide to what you can see, watch and play this week.
FILMS
Film of the Week:
Patriots Day (out 2nd February)
The story of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing and the aftermath, which includes the city-wide manhunt to find the terrorists responsible.
The Rest:

Kenny Wells, a prospector desperate for a lucky break, teams up with a similarly eager geologist and sets off on a journey to find gold in the uncharted jungle of Indonesia.
Manchester by the Sea (out 2nd February)
An uncle is asked to take care of his teenage nephew after the boy’s father dies.
Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions (out 2nd February)
The original Yu-Gi-Oh! cast of characters are back in this new film where Yugi and Kaiba have a special duel that transcends dimensions.
TELEVISION
Santa Clarita Diet (Out Friday on Netflix)
Sheila and Joel, a married couple, are real estate agents in Santa Clarita, California. When Sheila dies, their lives take a dark turn as she turns into a zombie.
Powerless (Out on Friday)
Follow the staff of an insurance company, specialising in products to protect defenceless bystanders from the collateral damage of Superheroes and Supervillains. Powerless is DC Comics first adventure into comedy and I’m hoping that it becomes an NBC classic like many NBC comedy shows before it.
Riverdale (Out Fridays on Netflix)
Riverdale started last week but I feel like you should hear about it in case you missed it. The show is an adaption of the Archie comics but set in a dark town with a murder mystery looming over everyone. Yes it is on the CW so it has a Gossip Girl meets Vampire Diaries vibe but it is currently, after it’s first episode, surprisingly engaging.
