Blindspot is the fifthteenth episode of Netflix’s Love, Death & Robots series. The Short film is directed by Vitaliy Shushko, with animation by Elena Volk and the animation is the coolest part of the film.

Astro Boy, meets borderlands is the best way I can explain this short film. It follows a ragtag group of brash robots speeding after a convoy to steal a microchip and I was immediately down for the ride.

It gave me nostalgia without even having seen more than 2 minutes of it. The writing is way more adult and the dark thick lined cartoon style was very violent at some points but never felt out of place in this universe. There’s not a lot to say as its over pretty quick and the ending was a little predictable and short, but it didn’t stop me from enjoying every second.

Score: 3.5/5
